Since today is Thanksgiving I thought I'd do a little something different. I came up with a couple family/holiday related book question to share with you all.

Favorite fictional family?
I always loved the Weasly family, I mean who didn't? From the clock in the kitchen to their homemade Christmas sweaters.
Favorite fictional place to spend Christmas?
Technically it's not fictional but I'm sure if I pulled half of what Eloise did than I'd be kicked out so it's close enough.
I've always loved this book and I think it would be so much fun to spend a holiday weekend at the Plaza.
Book that made you hungry?
Life As We Knew It. Everytime I read that book, or any book in that series I get insanely cold and ridiculously hungry. It's like I get sucked into that world and I feel what the characters are feeling.
Favorite book to read by a fire?
This is going to sound weird but NOS4A2.
I read it last year around Christmas time and I loved it, now it's forever categorized as a Christmas book in my mind...
Favorite book to give as a Secret Santa gift?
Anything by Jen Lancaster, I feel like no matter what you read she's so universally funny that your hooked within seconds.
A book you'd love to get for Christmas?
The Queen of Zombie Hearts! I somehow added it to my wishlist for my TBTBSanta and now everytime I go to the bookstore I have to restrain myself from buying it!!!
Favorite book recommendation from a family member?
The Elegance of The Hedgehog. My Aunt recommended it to me a couple years ago when I was on vacation visiting her and my Grandfather and I went to the store the next day, read it within a couple hours and I still love it years later.
Favorite book to read to the kids?
Junie B. Jones. I always read those books to the kids I nanny and once my nieces and nephew are old enough I'm sure I'll be reading them to them.
Favorite e-book series to feed your new tablet?
Anything by Amanda Hocking, she's seriously a genius and I remember a couple years ago getting a giftcard and having maybe 5 dollars left on it by Christmas night and I ordered 3 of her books for my nook and spent the rest of Christmas break in her Trylle world.
Book you want to read over the holiday break?
I have a list I'm challenging myself to read over the break so I can get a little ahead for my blog, I know The Rosie Effect is on it and Playlist For The Dead, a couple others are: Distance Between Lost and Found
Last Time We Say Goodbye
and My Heart and Other Black Holes.

Yes, I so agree with the Weasleys and Eloise!! My book to read to the kids would be Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone, and probably a HP book would also be my fireside read. My sister recommended The Across the Universe trilogy by Beth Revis to me and I loved it. I would love to get the Raven Boys books for Christmas and I am looking forward to two books equally in 2015, the sequels to both Of Breakable Things and Gates of Thread and Stone, but this is only because I lucked out and recieved ARCs of both Ensnared, the last book in the Splintered trilogy, and Stone in the Sky, the sequel to Tin Star and have read them already. I will be checking out the Switched books. I couldn't come up with a hunger inducing book. Maybe that is because I am almost always hungry! Lol. :)
