Stacking The Shelves (40)

"We are all book lovers and the need to share our enthusiasm is sometimes overwhelming. Stacking The Shelves is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in the physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks!

If you're anything like me, you are probably hoarding books and even though you are excited about your latest book arrival, it might be a while before you get to review it and Stacking The Shelves is a good way to express your undying enthusiasm for those titles."

So this week I purchased one book and I was sent three.

First up are the ARCS I received:

1. Beware That Girl

Reading the description for this book it pretty much sounds like Gossip Girl meets Hitchcock so I'm very excited to be able to read this one!

Release date is May 31st

2. And I Darken

Here's the thing, I don't know ANYTHING about this book and I don't want to. Kiersten White is one of my auto-buy authors, I would read her grocery lists so even though I don't know what it's about I know I'm going to love this book!

Release date is June 28th

3. Whisper To Me

The way I understood the synopsis is that this book is basically a giant letter written by a girl, to the boy whose heart she just broke. She tells him the entire story of the summer she lost herself and why she pushed him away. It sounds like the PERFECT summer read and, the cover? It's insanely beautiful!

Now for the book I bought....

I was technically on a no-buy week buuut Audible had a deal where Outlander was only 3.99!!!!! Now I already have the e-book (it was on sale a while ago for like two dollars) but I keep putting off reading it because it's a BEAST! So while 30+ hours of listening may seem just as daunting to most, I would much rather listening to it and be able to read other books in their physical form.

I don't know when I'll start Outlander, I'm currently listening to Shadow and Bone so depending on how it ends I might start Outlander or I might jump right into Siege and Storm.

And that's it! Let me know in the comments what books you got this week!

Until next time,
Ginger

So I have two books to share with you guys. I was sent these last week and they both look really good! I'm pretty sure they have both already been released but I'm adding them to my TBR for the month and I'll let you know what I think. :)

Until next time,

Waiting On Wednesday

 Waiting On Wednesday

Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly event that is hosted by Jill at Breaking The Spine and spotlights upcoming releases that we're eagerly anticipating.

Here is my selection for the week:

This is the sequel The Kiss of Deception which I haven't read yet but it's on my TBR for July and since I'm planning on reading the first one I figured I'd choose HOB for my selection this week and hopefully I can marathon these two.

I'm not posting the synopsis because I don't want to spoil myself (or anyone else) but it's release date is July 7th so go check it out!

Until next time,
Ginger

Waiting On Wednesday

 Waiting On Wednesday

Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly event that is hosted by Jill at Breaking The Spine and spotlights upcoming releases that we're eagerly anticipating.

Here is my selection for the week:

When Lexi Shaw seduced Oakfield High's resident bad boy Tyler Flynn at the beginning of senior year, he seemed perfectly okay with her rules:
1. Avoid her at school.
2. Keep his mouth shut about what they do together.
3. Never tease her about her friend (and unrequited crush) Ben.
Because with his integrity and values and golden boy looks, Ben can never find out about what she’s been doing behind closed doors with Tyler. Or that her mom’s too busy drinking and chasing losers to pay the bills. Or that Lexi’s dad hasn’t been a part of her life for the last thirteen years. But with Tyler suddenly breaking the rules, Ben asking her out, and her dad back in the picture, how long will she be able to go on faking perfect?
-----------------------------------------
If you read my post yesterday I'm sure you weren't surprised to see that this my selection for this week WOW. I'm really excited about this book and I can't wait for it to come out! Also while writing this post I realized that Huntley Fitzpatrick blurbed the front cover and that only fueled the fire!
Let me know what books you're looking forward to in the comments!
Until next time,

Top Ten Summer TBR Books For 2015

Top Ten Tuesday is a meme hosted by The Broke And The Bookish where each week there is a new topic for a top ten list.

This week is "Top Ten Books On My TBR For Summer 2015"

I'm currently reading Morgan Matson's "Since You've Been Gone" and I'm LOVING it so I'm really excited to read "Second Chance Summer" in the next couple of weeks.

Next are two books from Huntley Fitzpatrick, I loved "What I Thought Was True" and I've been dying to read "My Life Next Door" so when I saw she had a sequel (companion novel?) coming out I thought it would be the perfect time to add it to my summer TBR.

Next up are two Kasie West books, can you tell I love reading contemporaries during the warm months? I adored "On The Fence" and I know I'll love these two just as much!

Another authors who I just recently 'discovered' (or who I've heard about for AGES but only just picked up a book and fell in love for myself) is Jennifer E. Smith. "The Statistical Probability of Love at First Sight" was such a cute, fast read and I'm dying to get my hands on more of her books!

Next up is Jenny Han's new book. Jenny writes the perfect summer/beach reads so of course this one made my list!

Second to the last book and I can honestly say that before tonight I had never heard of this book. I was randomly browsing Goodreads and stumbled upon it and it looked so good I couldn't help but include it! It sounds like "The DUFF" (the book not the movie) and since I loved "The DUFF" I'm super excited to pick this up!

And last but certainly not least is a re-read I'll be picking up this summer. Since this book came out in 2007 I've read it almost every summer. It's one of my favorite books and I can't imagine letting the summer go by without picking it up and immersing myself in Ann Brashares world.

Let me know which books you'll be reading this summer and please link your blogs in the comments! I need to get better about commenting/reading others blogs!

Until next time,
Ginger
