Pre-Stacking The Shelves/ Bookshelf Tour

I've seen so many "Stacking The Shelves" Post since I've started this book blog and I really enjoy seeing what everyone has gotten during the week/month. I couldn't wait to do my first post.

Here's a little info on "Stacking The Shelves" in case you've never heard of it:

"We are all book lovers and the need to share our enthusiasm is sometimes overwhelming. Stacking The Shelves is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in the physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks!

If you're anything like me, you are probably hoarding books and even though you are excited about your latest book arrival, it might be a while before you get to review it and Stacking The Shelves is a good way to express your undying enthusiasm for those titles."

My first Stacking The Shelves will go up tomorrow but today I thought I would post a little tour of my bookshelves in their current state.

First up is my rainbow bookcase:

Yes I color coordinate my bookshelves :)

Next up is my black bookcase:

After that is my signed bookcase, I wish I could say I had a semblance of self control when it came to author signings/events but that would be a lie:
(obviously the classic I have on top are not signed)

This stack is also signed but I like to keep them on my desk:

And last but not least a picture of where I do most of my reading, I'm just finishing up the 'Forever' and my review of books 1-3 will go up in the near future.

I hope this wasn't too terribly long and don't forget to stop by tomorrow to see what books I added to my collection in June :)

Until next time,
Ginger

  1. I want that chair!!! And I love that your books are color coordinated! Does that mean that you have some series broken up and not together on shelves?

    1. No I keep (or try at least) all my series together, the books that I have facing out hide some of the series that don't quite fit anywhere. Like my black bookcase you can see the Hunger Games and Cresendo is hiding Catching Fire and Mockingjay :)
