This book is sure to spark a dialogue between parents and teens as well as tell an appealing cautionary tale to a younger audience and would be a good addition to any middle school, high school, or public library.” The Idaho Librarian

With all the different trending social media out there, this book is intriguing because the story centers around a naive yet strong-willed girl who falls into the trap of an internet predator. … You will definitely want to read this book to find out what happens!” The Dallas Public Library

One Year Blogiversary PARTY (And Giveaway)

Welcome to the beginning of my five day blogiversary celebration!

Grab some cake, a little ice cream, a party hat and make yourself comfortable!

I honest can't believe that I've only been doing this a year, yet at the same time it feels like yesterday that I decided to start a random book blog and see what would happen.

Boy if only I could have guessed even a small percent of what happened in the past year.

Realizing there was a whole community of book bloggers with welcoming arms, getting to talk to some of my favorite authors, making new friends, discovering that there are such things as ARC's that get sent to book bloggers.

This is the first 'hobby' of mine that has lasted more than a couple weeks and I can say with 100% certainty that it will continue for many years to come.

I've learned so much in the past year and grown so much that I can't imagine ever quitting.

Long story short, it's been a pretty epic year and I'm excited to see what comes next!

Now for the fun part!

For the next five days I'll be celebrating my one year anniversary.

Tomorrow (June 2nd 2015) I'll be doing a movie night on my twitter. It's starts at 8pm MST and we'll be watching... A movie... That has yet to be decided.

I'll post the movie sometime today on my twitter along with whatever hashtag I'm going to use!

I'll also have random giveaways through the week, I'm aiming for three but we'll see how it goes.

For now here is a giveaway for my all time favorite book.

If you've never read Kevin Brooks "Lucas" you are missing out. This book came to me at the perfect time in my life and I've read it multiple times since then. Without it I doubt I would have ever had the courage to start a book blog. I figured what better way to celebrate then to giveaway a copy of it.

Giveaway is open internationally, as long as Book Depository ships to you then you're good!

Keep an eye out for my next giveaway and I will talk to you all soon!

Until next time,
Ginger

ARC Giveaway for "Tiny Pretty Things"

So today's post is a little different than my usual ones, I was asked if I wanted to participate in an ARC giveaway for all my readers and of course I said yes!

I myself haven't read the book yet but I'm very excited about it and I'll be participating in the blog tour later this month so keep an eye out for that post!

Here's a little info for you:

Tiny Pretty Things

Black Swan meets Pretty Little Liars in this soapy, drama-packed novel featuring diverse characters who will do anything to be the prima at their elite ballet school.

Gigi, Bette, and June, three top students at an exclusive Manhattan ballet school, have seen their fair share of drama. Free-spirited new girl Gigi just wants to dance—but the very act might kill her. Privileged New Yorker Bette's desire to escape the shadow of her ballet star sister brings out a dangerous edge in her. And perfectionist June needs to land a lead role this year or her controlling mother will put an end to her dancing dreams forever. When every dancer is both friend and foe, the girls will sacrifice, manipulate, and backstab to be the best of the best.
